Hi. This is my first attempt at writing a blog so I hope you'll bear with me. OK so here you're supposed to write whatever you want right? I'm not sure what to write about. me I guess. I am a total geek. I LOVE science fiction and some of my favorite shows are (or were depending if their still on or not) Sanctuary, Dr. Who, Criminal Minds, Bones, Sherlock and many others. I also write. I'm in the midst of writing first novel and it's no where close to being done. I'm thinking I'll do a book blog and review my favourites and least favourites I welcome your feedback and feel free to comment with books that you would like me to review. I will also update about the current state of my novel so stay tuned... I might post the first chapter or so...sorry if this introductory post was boring. I guess if I want to do a book blog I'll start by reviewing my favorites, first up The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.
First of all I adore this book. Katniss is a very strong female heroine who faces adversity head on and defeats it The way it's written is so action packed and interesting that you can't help but continue reading once you start. It's addictive and once you read it you'll want to read the other 2 in the trilogy. If you haven't seen the movie already take my advice and see it but read the book first. It will make the movie slightly easier to understand as I think it was geared toward the people who had read the book already.
In a brief novel update I am 15 chapters in and 34 026 words in. I'll keep writing furiously and when I'm finished you'll be the first to know. Until then my blogger friends keep on writing and blogging and you never know whether or not you're good at writing until you try it and of course you should keep reading.
